My body will never forget is a video performance installation. The performance is a reciting of a spoken word poem, and repeating actions of striding atop of a set dinner table and serving of food on that very table. These repeated actions are manifestations of a meticulous internal food ritual that is brought forward to the surface and is disclosed to the public by means of the performance. The performance reveals the inner mechanism of diets, eating obstruction and food prevention I experienced as a teen. The serving includes a food measuring ritual which refers to a daily WeightWatchers-like routine of exactly measured and restricted amounts of food in order to lose weight.

The installation space is comprised of the chairs and the shattered plates, glasses, candle holder, candles featured in the video. The audience is invited to be a silent participate in the dinner. The video is projected on the tablecloth. The resulting ritual is a mixture between inviting the audience to the table and preventing food from them; it is simultaneously an act of generosity and rejection, mirroring the internal conflicted food serving ritual. This conflict reflects ambivalent feeling towards food: on the one hand craving it and on the other preventing yourself from eating it.

My body will never forget הוא מיצב וידאו פרפורמנס של דיקלום שיר ספוקן וורד בו בזמן עם ביצוע של פעולה חזרתית של פסיעה על שולחן אוכל ערוך. לאחר הפסיעה מוגש אוכל אל השולחן. הפסיעות החוזרות ונשנות הן ביטוי לפולחן אוכל פנימי הנחשף לקהל באמצעות הפרפורמנס. העבודה מעלה אל פני השטח את המנגנון הפנימי של דיאטות, שיבושי אכילה והמינעות מאכילה אותם חוויתי כנערה. הגשת האוכל מדמה את שגרת היום יום של "שומרי משקל" דרך טקס מדוקדק של מידדת כמיות מזון והגבלתו על מנת לרדת במשקל.

המיצב מורכב מהחפצים המופעים בוידאו: כיסאות, שברי צלחות, כוסות מנופצות, נרות ומעמדי נרות. הוידאו מוקרן על מפת השולחן מהוידאו. הטקס שנוצר הוא עירבוב בין הזמנת הקהל לשולחן לבין מניעת אוכל ממנו; זו פעולה של דחיה ונדיבות בו זמנית, המשקפת תחושה אמביוולנטית כלפי אוכל: מצד אחד השתוקקת אליו ומצד שני מניעה עצמית. הפעולה משקפת את הקונפליקט הפנימי הקיים בטקס הגשת המזון.
